I need the name of a band who is currently touring, is likely to be on tour for at least the next few months, tends to put up upcoming tour information in something easy to read (RSS/Atom would be fantastic), and allows people to submit videos of concerts to YouTube. Ideally, there would be a couple past concert clips already on YouTube, but that's not necessary.

Thanks :-)

Without checking to make sure... Jonathan Coulton. If there's a way a web 2.0 technology can be used to promote him, he's already using it. :-)

JC is a good fit, but the proportion of music videos to concert recordings youtube has for him was making my life difficult. I'll probably try doing him next once my app is up and running.

Umphrey's McGee. Though I don't know how cool they are about YouTube videos, they allow taping using a very similar policy to the Dead or Phish.

They're not good about updating, but they do have their own YouTube channel.

Thanks a lot for the tip! It looks like these guys will work out. I'm writing an app that will plot concerts on Google Maps and link to audio/video from past concerts and venue info for upcoming concerts, and I wanted a fairly easy band to do a prototype with. Now, if I can figure out how to comb their facebook data, I'm golden :-)

Is there a way to search YouTube for "live concert tour" and then sort by date? I don't actually go there unless someone links me.
